Glossário de Diversidade (Diversity Glossary) is an initiative in which I took part in Kobe, my former employer company. It was developed in order to evolve the knowledge within the company regarding diversity topics. To achieve that, we build an internal website to explain the most basic concepts of diversity, including racial issues, subjects regarding the LGBTQIA+ agenda and many others. The pages were designed in a template structure that allowed them to have its own identity. Meanwhile, the integration with a CMS tool (Contentful) helped the team to quickly and easily create pages about different entries. Based on internal research that showed how frightened some employees were with the idea of not knowing enough about these subjects, the main goal of this project was to establish a safe source of truth for these conversations. By creating the website, we allowed these people to learn more about each topic, without feeling discouraged by shyness or discomfort of not knowing where to look for this information.
